Decorative concrete in Beverly Hills CA - a stone or brick look that holds up
If your plain slab is cracked, stained or just dull, we pour and finish concrete that looks like stone or brick and stays sound.

Can concrete really look like stone at my Beverly Hills home?
At Keystone Beverly Hills Concrete, decorative concrete means coloring and texturing new concrete so your driveway, walk or patio in Beverly Hills looks like slate, brick or natural stone and still works as a hard, everyday surface.
Most people who call us have a plain slab that's cracked, chipping or just tired, and they want something better than gray without paying to set real stone. The price moves with the size of the area, the pattern and colors you pick, and how much old concrete and base work the job needs. The schedule turns on permits and the weather on pour day, because hot weather can leave colored concrete uneven in shade, so we choose our pour days with that in mind. Your written estimate lays out your options and what's included, and if a pressed pattern on a new slab is all you're after, our stamped concrete page covers that work.
Why owners call Keystone for decorative concrete
You'll talk to the person who looks at your job, and you'll know what goes under the pattern and why before we pour.
Estimate from the owner
I come out myself to look at the job and write the estimate, and I run the job on site.
In business since 2021
We've been at this for five years, and I learned the trade by asking finishers why they did each step.
Proof of license and insurance
We're licensed and insured, and you're welcome to see both before you sign anything.
The base before the pattern
If the budget's tight, I'd trim the pattern before the base, because a pretty top on soft dirt settles and cracks.

Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee, so call (424) 550-5006 and talk your job through with me.
Decorative concrete options we pour
The right look depends on where the surface sits, how much sun and water it gets, and what it sits next to, so we start with how you'll use it.
What happens when you call about decorative concrete?
We plan the pour around your household and the weather, so you know ahead of time when the area is off limits and what has to stay off it while it cures.

Your written estimate
We send a written estimate that lays out your options and explains what's included, so you can weigh a richer pattern against more base work.
The pour and the walk-through
Once you say yes, we take care of the permit side and the prep, pour and finish, then walk you through looking after the new concrete.

How much does decorative concrete cost in Beverly Hills?
The cost of decorative concrete in Beverly Hills comes down to the area, the pattern and colors, and what has to happen under the surface before we pour. A single color with a simple texture runs less than a multi-color stone pattern with hand-detailed edges, and tearing out an old slab or rebuilding soft ground adds to it. Your written estimate breaks those pieces out so you can see where the money goes.
How can concrete be made to look like stone or brick?
Concrete is made to look like slate, brick or stone with color and texture worked into the fresh surface. Stamps or patterned tools press the shape in while the concrete is still soft, and color goes into the mix or onto the top, often in a couple of shades so it doesn't look painted on. Bring photos of a stone you like and we'll talk about how close concrete can get.
Who is allowed to do decorative concrete work in Beverly Hills?
Beverly Hills requires a licensed contractor on any project valued at $1,000 or more, so plan on one from the first estimate. In California, the C-8 concrete contractor class covers forming, pouring, finishing and installing flatwork, the slabs, walks and paving that lie on the ground, along with other concrete work. Ask whoever bids your job for their license before you sign.
How do I take care of sealed decorative concrete?
Reseal only as often as your sealer's maker calls for, and no heavier. One maker's cure-and-seal guide says coats that go on too thick, too many coats or resealing too often can cause bubbling, whitening, peeling, flaking and product failure. Between coats, sweeping and rinsing usually keeps it looking right, and at the walk-through I'll tell you which product you have.
How long does decorative concrete take to cure before I can use it?
You can walk on new decorative concrete well before you can drive on it, and I'll give you both dates at the walk-through because they depend on the mix and that week's weather. Curing is the wait while the concrete holds its moisture and hardens, and rushing it is how you end up with a weak, dusty top. Until we say it's ready, keep cars and heavy furniture off it.
Will my new decorative concrete crack like my old slab?
Concrete can still crack, so the goal is fewer cracks, in places we chose. That comes from a subgrade, the ground the slab sits on, that's dug out and packed instead of raked level, steel rebar that holds the pieces together, and control joints, cuts that give the slab a line to crack along, made on time. When we replace an old slab, the failure usually started at the base, not the top.
Decorative concrete permits and street work in Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills requires building permits for structural alterations, improvements, general repairs, new construction and demolition, and any work on the driveway approach, the ramped part of the sidewalk and curb that lets cars in from the street, needs its own permit from the city's Permit Center. The city also wants approach and curb contractors insured and holding a valid Class A, C-8 or C-12 license at the time of the project. For decorative work on your lot, we find out what the city asks for on your kind of job and handle the permit paperwork when it's needed, and if something has to come from you, like drawings, we tell you early.
Street access is the other thing we plan for here. Loading materials on the sidewalk, parkway or street takes a city right-of-way permit, so when the lot has room we stage there instead, and the city has asked that street work be planned around a right-of-way construction moratorium from November 16, 2026, through January 4, 2027. We plan deliveries the same way on jobs in West Hollywood and Culver City, and if your city isn't on our list, ask us anyway.
