Agreeing to these terms
These terms apply when you use this website or ask Keystone Beverly Hills Concrete for an estimate or for work on your property. By using the site or booking a job with us, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
If you have a question about anything here, call us at (424) 550-5006 or reach us through our contact page before you book.
What we do
Keystone Beverly Hills Concrete is a concrete contractor in Beverly Hills, CA. We build and repair driveways, patios, sidewalks, steps, pool decks, garage floors, retaining walls, footings and foundations. We also do stamped and decorative concrete, foundation raising and concrete cutting for homes and properties in Beverly Hills and the cities around it. We're licensed and insured.
The pages on this site describe our work in general terms. They aren't a quote, an offer or engineering advice for your property. You can read more about who we are on our about page or see everything we do from the home page.
Estimates and pricing
Our estimates are free and done on site, because we need to see the ground, the access and where the water runs before we can price a slab honestly. Each estimate covers the scope, materials and price written on it. It stays open for the period stated on it.
An estimate is based on what we can see that day. Problems under an old slab, like soft or wet subgrade, which is the soil the new concrete sits on, buried roots or old footings, often don't show until demolition. If we find something that changes the work, we'll stop, show you, and put any change in price in writing before we go ahead. We don't add charges you haven't approved.
Your written agreement
Before work starts, we put your job in a written agreement that lists the scope, price, payment schedule and any job-specific warranty. If that agreement says something different from these terms, the agreement controls for that job.
If your job needs a permit, the agreement says who is responsible for getting it.
Scheduling, weather and cancellation
We set your start date once the agreement is signed and any deposit has cleared. Concrete depends on the weather, so we may move a pour for rain, high heat or strong wind, and we'll tell you as soon as we know. Delays from weather, material supply, inspections or anything else outside our control aren't a breach of our agreement.
If you need to reschedule or cancel, call us as early as you can. Your written agreement explains any cancellation rights California law gives you and any costs for materials already ordered or work already done.
Payment terms
Your written agreement sets the payment schedule, any deposit and the payment methods we accept. Any deposit or progress payment will follow California law for home improvement work, and final payment is due when the work described in the agreement is complete.
If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's made. We keep any rights California law gives contractors to secure payment for work done on a property.
Your part of the job
You agree to give our crew safe access to the work area and to tell us about anything you know is buried there, like sprinkler lines, drain pipes or utility lines. Where property lines matter, you agree to confirm them before we dig.
New concrete needs time to cure, which is the period it spends gaining strength before it can take weight. We'll tell you when it's safe to walk on and when it's safe to drive on, and you agree to keep people, pets and vehicles off it until then.
Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover
Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something isn't right, call us and we'll come out and look at it with you. Any specific workmanship warranty for your job is written in your agreement.
Concrete cracks, and no contractor can honestly promise a slab never will. We cut control joints, which are grooves that give the slab a planned place to crack, so cracks usually stay in those lines. Hairline cracks, small color differences between pours and normal surface wear aren't defects in our work. Neither is damage from soil movement, tree roots, standing water, chemicals, loads heavier than the slab was built for, or use before the concrete has cured.
Beyond what is written in your agreement and what the law requires, our work and this website are provided without any other warranty, express or implied, to the extent California law allows.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, Keystone Beverly Hills Concrete isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost use of your property, lost income or the cost of other contractors you hire. Our total liability for any claim tied to a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that California law doesn't allow us to limit.
Using this website
We try to keep this site accurate, but we provide it as it is and may change or remove content at any time. Our contact form is run by an outside service, and any outside site we link to is governed by its own terms and policies, not ours.
You agree not to misuse the site, copy its content for commercial use, or try to interfere with how it works.
Resolving a dispute
If you have a problem with our work or a bill, please call us at (424) 550-5006 or write to us through the contact page first. Most problems get settled by walking the job together, and we'd rather fix something than argue about it.
If we can't settle it within a reasonable time, either of us may bring a claim in small claims court if it qualifies, or otherwise in the state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California.
Governing law
These terms and any agreement between you and Keystone Beverly Hills Concrete are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page applies from the day it's posted. A change won't alter a written agreement you've already signed with us.
If you have questions about any version of these terms, call us at (424) 550-5006, Monday through Sunday, 7 AM to 10 PM, or use our contact page.
