Stamped concrete services in Beverly Hills CA - color and sealer chosen for your slab
Plain gray driveway or patio that looks tired? We pour stamped concrete with the color method and sealer that suit how you use it.

What goes into a stamped concrete driveway or patio?
Stamped concrete services in Beverly Hills cover forming, pouring and finishing a driveway, patio or walk in color, then pressing a pattern into the surface while it's still soft so it reads like stone, brick or tile instead of plain gray.
Most people who call us have a gray driveway, patio or walk that's cracked, stained or just tired, and they want color and pattern without laying pavers. If you only want texture or a border, our decorative concrete work may fit better. Price moves with the size of the area, how much old concrete comes out, the base work underneath, the color method, the sealer and any changes at the curb. The schedule turns mostly on the city permit, the tear-out and the cure, which is the wait while the new slab hardens before you use it. After I see the space, the written estimate I send lays out your options and what's included, so you see your own figure.
Why Beverly Hills owners choose us for stamped concrete
I'll show you what goes under the pattern and why each choice is made, so you decide with the reasons in hand instead of just signing an estimate.
I write your estimate
I come out myself to write the estimate, and I run the job on site while our crew does the work.
In business since 2021
I learned the trade on a crew by asking finishers why they did each step, and I still explain jobs that way.
Licensed and insured
Beverly Hills requires a licensed contractor on any project valued at $1,000 or more, so check that on every bid you get.
The base comes before the pattern
The base is hidden on day one and it's the first thing people want to trim, so it's where I push back.
Backed by our satisfaction guarantee
You hear the trade-offs before we pour, so the slab you end up with is the one you picked.
Stamped concrete choices we walk you through
We pick the color method and sealer by how you'll use the space, whether cars drive on it, whether it gets wet and how much a chip would bother you.

How much does stamped concrete cost in Beverly Hills?
Installed stamped concrete in the Los Angeles area usually runs about $15 to $30 per square foot, and that's a planning figure for the area, not our price. Installed means the finished work in place, and where a job lands in that range comes down to the tear-out, base work, color and sealer we covered above. For your own number, I'll come out and send a written estimate.
Is stamped concrete slippery when it gets wet?
It can be, and the sealer is usually why. Film-forming sealers are the most common on stamped concrete because they bring out the color, but a standard glossy acrylic film cuts grip a lot when it's wet. On a patio or walk that gets wet, we talk about traction when we pick the sealer, because deeper color isn't worth a fall.
What causes stamped concrete to crack?
Most cracks trace back to what's under the slab and where the joints are, not the pattern. A subgrade, the dirt the slab sits on, that was raked level instead of dug out and packed settles over time, and joints cut late or skipped let the slab crack wherever it wants. We dig out and pack the subgrade, set rebar, steel bars that hold the slab together if it does crack, and cut control joints, grooves that give cracks a planned line to follow.
How do I know when my stamped concrete needs resealing?
It's time to reseal when water and spills stop beading up and start soaking in, or when the color looks flat and loses its depth. Resealing is the most common upkeep on stamped concrete, and it's done when those signs show up rather than on a set number of years. When you see them, give us a call.
How long does a stamped concrete driveway take to finish?
The calendar usually turns on the permit and the prep more than the pour itself. Old concrete comes out, the ground gets ready, and after the pour the slab has to cure, so you're back on foot well before you're driving on it. I'll go over the timing for your job when I come out.
Do I need a permit for a stamped concrete driveway in Beverly Hills?
Yes, in most cases. The city requires building permits for outside improvements, and site work like front yard paving goes on its own application. We find out what the city asks for at your address and take care of the paperwork, and if something has to come from you, like drawings, we tell you early.
What Beverly Hills adds to a stamped concrete job
If your stamped concrete is going in out front, a few city rules shape the plan. A city handout on front yard paving allows homes south of Santa Monica Blvd 400 square feet of paving in the front yard setback, the open stretch between the house and the street, which caps how big a front driveway or walk can get there. The handout isn't dated, so check the current limit with the city, and we'll confirm it too before we draw up your layout. Replacing or adding a driveway approach, the ramp across the sidewalk with its lower curb and gutter, takes a permit of its own. The city also pauses construction in the public right-of-way, the street and sidewalk side, from November 16, 2026, through January 4, 2027, so if your curb or approach is changing, we plan that part around those dates.
Most calls for stamped work here are front driveways, entry walks and back patios, and owners usually want the color to sit well with the house. We do the same work in West Hollywood and Santa Monica and across many of the cities around Beverly Hills, so if yours isn't on our list, ask us anyway.
